Tallahassee Dec 2007 Meeting: Building High Performance .NET Applications with Vinay Ahuja

Join the Tallahassee .NET Developer Group on Thursday, December 6, 2007 to look at several techniques and best practices for creating highly performant applications using .NET.

"How you can leverage parallel programming and multi-threading to make your applications more responsive and faster? The most essential step in writing high performance applications is to learn how to measure performance. What are the tools to measure performance? Why is it important to define performance goals? We'll look at some tools to measure performance. We'll also describe some of the key CLR concepts related to memory management and garbage collection, that are critical to our understanding of building high performance applications. If there is time, we will also look at some of the future technologies like PLinq."
