I wish I could go on a few Venice cruises with a very dear friend of mine. He deserves a break from all the trouble he’s going through at the moment and if it was possible to take him away for just a day, I think a nice cruise would be ideal. Of course, Venice cruises can also be quite romantic, esp. If you choose the ones that lead you through the older parts of the town. However, Venice is quite far away and it would take a whole day to just get there. Unfortunately, right now, me and my friend wouldn’t be able to get away for even a whole day because he has so many animals to look after. If he ever found a reliable person who could look after the animals without killing half of them in the process, we could have such a time-out. It would be very good for both of us.
