I am a young professional that does not have any type of insurance as I can not afford it and my employer does not offer it as I am in a probationary state. My agent suggested that I get a hospital plan that would cover all of my bills in case I was hurt or had an emergency. Well, at first I thought it was going to be a waste of money but after speaking with a few friends and family members I realized that it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made in my life. I had a very bad cramp in my abdominal area to the point where I was hunched over and crying. My boss called an ambulance and I ended up having to have my appendix taken out as it was very infected. Now, I do not have any medical bills due to my insurance.
